Acupuncture

Veterinary acupuncture is the practice of inserting very thin, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points on an animal's body. These points are associated with energy pathways, or "meridians," and stimulating them is believed to promote the flow of vital energy, balance the body's systems, and support natural healing processes.

Benefits of Veterinary Acupuncture:

  • Pain Management: Acupuncture can provide pain relief for animals with chronic conditions such as arthritis, musculoskeletal issues, or post-surgical discomfort.

  • Improved Mobility: It can help improve an animal's range of motion and mobility, especially in older pets.

  • Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Acupuncture may help reduce anxiety, stress, and behavioral issues in pets.

  • Enhanced Healing: Acupuncture can boost the body's natural healing responses, making it useful in post-surgery recovery.

With chiropractic, we evaluate the animal's spine and joints for misalignments, also known as subluxations. Using gentle, specific adjustments, they manipulate the affected areas to restore proper alignment. This adjustment process aims to improve nerve function and promote the body's natural healing abilities.   Patients can have an improved quality of life after just one adjustment.

Benefits of Chiropractic:

  • Pain Relief: Veterinary chiropractic can alleviate pain and discomfort caused by musculoskeletal problems, such as joint stiffness or misalignment.

  • Improved Mobility: It can enhance an animal's range of motion, flexibility, and overall mobility.

  • Optimized Nervous System Function: Proper spinal alignment supports the nervous system, potentially improving organ function, and overall health.

  • Enhanced Performance: For athletic or working animals, chiropractic care can optimize their performance and reduce the risk of injuries.

  • Holistic Approach: It offers a holistic approach to animal healthcare, complementing traditional veterinary medicine.
